Teachers Change Lives

Client

Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers' Association

Challenge

Newfoundland and Labrador teachers have faced years of mounting pressure: larger class sizes, complex student needs, staffing shortages, and increasing violence in schools. Research showed teacher morale and job satisfaction declining, even as public concern about education quality grew. The NLTA needed a long-term communications platform that could cut through difficult headlines, remind people what teachers make possible for students and communities, and make teachers themselves feel seen, valued, and supported.

Solution

We developed and continue to evolve “Teachers Change Lives,” a multi-year storytelling platform built around real teachers and students from every corner of the province. Each chapter focuses on a different teacher’s impact, highlighting diverse experiences and inclusive representation while maintaining a consistent emotional tone, visual style, and brand voice. TV and cinema remain the core storytelling channels, extended through social, digital video, and display to reach audiences where they are. Year after year, we use research and audience feedback to refine the creative, ensuring the work feels authentic, hopeful, and true to teachers’ lived experiences.
