m5 moves two of its own into VP roles

m5 recently announced additions to the company’s executive team. The new structure sees Jennifer Kenny in New Brunswick and Jon Duke in Newfoundland move into VP roles. Both had held senior positions at m5 prior to the recent promotions.

“We are so pleased to announce the promotion of two employees who have been key players in the growth and success of m5 over the years, while consistently providing top-quality client relations,” said Heather Dalton, Partner, m5.

Jennifer Kenny moves from Senior Account Director to VP of Client Service in m5’s Moncton office. Jon Duke, previously the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing, is now VP of Marketing and Innovation.

Kenny, a Communications & Advertising Accredited Professional (CAAP), joined the agency in 2013 after working with ALC, Cavendish Farms and with SGCI Communications. Over the past six years she has led numerous files, such as NB Power, General Motors and New Brunswick Tourism alongside a plethora of government and regional accounts. She has a proven ability to juggle numerous responsibilities, all while successfully managing relationships and taking care of her teams.

Duke has been with m5 for 12 years and, in that time, held various roles across account services, innovation and strategy. Jon has become a trusted voice for many of m5’s clients and a leader within the organization. Prior to his most recent role, Duke led one of m5’s business units. He will now split his time continuing in a client-facing planning role while also leading m5’s own positioning in the marketplace and innovation pipeline.

“We have every confidence that both Jennifer and Jon will continue to rise to the challenge and excel in their new roles. They have honed their skills over the years and are real assets to our organization,” says Rick Rouah, Partner, m5.

This is the latest move from m5 Marketing Communications, following the management buyout in 2018. Partners now including Susan Clarke, Heather Dalton, Chris MacInnes, Carolyn O’Keefe, and Rick Rouah. m5 is the largest marketing and communications firm in Atlantic Canada, with offices throughout the region and New Hampshire.
