Account Manager – Halifax

Primary responsibilities will include:

Handling all day-to-day, task-oriented activities for the account, including:

  • Coordinating workflow for projects with the creative and production team, including development of timelines, production requests, and estimates as required
  • Working closely with the Director of Client Service on the day-to-day tasks
  • Reviewing and proofing all advertising materials to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Liaising with the media buyer/planner to ensure that all media plans are booked and that all required artwork is delivered to meet deadlines
  • Liaising with the other group m5 companies to coordinate and manage projects from start to finish
  • Preparing and distributing campaign communications to the clients including meeting minutes
  • Organizing and attending client meetings to discuss campaign strategies and other relevant items
  • Undertaking secondary research in order to gain insight into current client situations including their competitive environment, industry trends, as well as program impacts and results
  • Leading tactical execution phase for communications campaigns
  • Building professional relationships with clients
  • Providing accurate financial reporting inputs to the Director of Client Service
  • Other tasks as necessary

Other qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Must be a team player
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Undergraduate business degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, or other relevant form of education
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Social media/digital skills an asset
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset
  • Agency experience is not required, but will be considered an asset
